two days of sch experience passed... and i must admit i'm quite enjoying it, although i felt quite exhausted after observing 5 periods in a row followed by contact time... i know i shouldn't feel exhausted since im only sittng at the back of the class... but i still felt tired all the same. i wonder how Ms Pang (thats my CT) endures it all, with all that class management and teaching going on~ now i know its darn darn important to keep my throat in good condition! no more spicy/fried food...If i could describe the teachers at Junyuan Primary, it would be friendly. Really~ don believe ask Jasmine (Kwok) who was on sch experience with me! i like my CT! she's young and friendly and really helps me... i thought i would have to do all the asking but instead, she was more than willing to share with me her lessoon plans for the whole year round, as well as let me go thru some of the school's worksheets and assignments. Plus because i asked something abt Moral Ed, she was nice enough to convert two Chinese lessons into Moral Ed lessons just to let me observe how it was like to take on a Moral Ed class! v nice of her :) thanks so much Ms Pang!
The P2s surprised me the most. i had thought they would be obedient little tots, respecting authority and all that, but they were actually the noisiest lot! All of them seemed to have boundless energy in them, and i even came across a boy diagnosed with hyperactive disorder... he had to take medicine to calm himself down! even with medication he still walks around the class when the teacher is teaching... sharp objects had to be kept away from him fo fear that he might poke himself in the eye with it (ouch) or smth...
in all im enjoying my experience here so far... two more days to go, lets see how it all goes! :)
